Free the Bra
A lot of hype has been generated over Enrique Iglesias’ concert from the organizational hiccups to accusations of fraud and now surrounding the person who threw a bra onto the stage that Enrique was performing on. Unfortunately for President Sirisena, his statement did not garner the attention that he hoped it would with many individuals ridiculing the statement on social media. BuzzFeed even got in on the action, getting to the root of the whole incident and helping us all realise that really, one look at Enrique and anyone would be overcome with an overwhelming desire to throw their underwear at him. A small minority did agree with the President, citing the need to uphold Sri Lankan values and culture. At the end of the day, the issue boils down to why the government feels that the Sri Lankan populace needs moral policing, be it by being whipped with stingray tails or otherwise.

If we start to accept these perverted stunts then we are giving in and accepting the dissolving of our culture. What that girl did was wrong and disrespectful and the situation should be discussed and brought to light.

Let people be. Youth culture is youth culture and when it marries with pop culture it is what it is. It's still culture. Stop being a stick in the mud. Get with the times. You can't tie down women with a bra any longer.
I am glad that our new Lokka H.E. Trymeepala Maruwedilla has come out strongly on the subject of "bra throwing". This is exacktly what a strong leeder must do. Pick the most burning ishues and make shure that you are solving them. Since Trymeepala has alreddy taken on 'bra throwing' maybe he will olso focuss on these other very very impotent ishues in Arsikland:
1. Peeples saying goodbye at partees for more than 45 minites. Yanawanung yannako, paya gaanak tataa kiyanney nathuwa.
2. Peeples who are going aberode for less than one year and then speeking with pol kudu accent.
3. Peeples who are aberode who come to Arsikland and then go round wearing shorts, white socks and SANDALS! (These peeples must be hamered with the boo walla).
4. Oll movies where peeples where the underware on the OUTSIDE. This is against our culture becose we oll wear the underware on the inside!
5. Peeples who posting pickchers of their brekfast on the MuhunuPotha.
These are burning ishues and Arsikland wants to know if their Lokka is on the boll!
P.S. Trymee, you do know that Arsikland makes a LOT of bras and jungees for the exporting to the rest of the world ne? If more peeples threw their bras and jungees away then it might be better for us becose we can exporting more of them and earn more foreen currensy... just saying...
