We visited Shaze Café and met with the owner Mr. Sharfaz, who took time off his busy schedule to host us. Speaking to Life Online he explained the inspiration behind the café; "I travel a lot. The different cuisines and the good food I have had, inspired me to open up a cafe. And I like the restaurant industry because it is quite straightforward." 

"Our soul mission is to serve good quality food.  With the help of our Head Chef Sanjeewa we have come up with a versatile fusion menu serving a variety of dishes from different cuisines." He assured us that they are extremely quality conscious and are always open to suggestions. 

Their staff is extremely friendly and their customer service is definitely something they can boast about.

We first ordered two beverages off their menu. A Strawberry Mojito (Rs. 500) which was sweet and refreshing. And a Latte (Rs. 425) made by their award winning barista. 

There is a variety of starters ranging from soups, salads and fries. We ordered their Dynamic Prawns (Rs. 725) which was delicious and it’s the dish I enjoyed the most. 

For our main course we ordered a Chicken Cannelloni (Rs. 875), a pasta based dish with a delicious sauce and loads of cheese. Served hot it was delicious and quite filling. They also serve lasagna, noodles, rice and roast paan! 

For dessert we ordered their Blueberry Cheesecake (Rs. 475) which was not too sweet and absolutely delicious. They also have a counter full of various cakes that you can pick from. Apart from cake there are many more dishes you can pick from as well! Even if you just have a craving for something sweet Shaze is the place to go to!

The café can hold up to 90 people and has 2 private and 2 outdoor areas. It is also cozy and inviting, the perfect place to meet up and hang out with your friends. The only shortcoming is that only 6 vehicles can be parked in front of the café, but the manager assured us that parking in the adjoining lane is possible as well.
