I was extremely excited and was highly anticipating the drama and I must admit it was marvellous and got us all laughing throughout the show. In fact we were quite disappointed that it had to end! (yes, it was that good)

It was a hilarious insight into Dulanthi and Ramesh Fernando's lives as we see how Dulanthi constantly tries her level best to keep up with no other than the Pereras. Where she wishes to hold a decent dinner party for her Bollywood dance class when disaster strikes in numerous ways which were boisterously merry. Firstly from where Dulanthi ordered furniture for her house and it got delayed, after all "Forever Timber" (the furniture store) didn't match up to their expectations but "it was where the Perera's got their stunning furniture!", which of course led towards a dramatic argument and the famous nosy neighbours come again snooping from their balconies and reporting to each other what they see from the Fernando's place. Typical!

And then comes the unexpected rodent, which Ramesh successfully smashed with Dulanthi's expensive skillet and earning a giant scream from her behalf which got the neighbours wondering if Ramesh was a woman beater. Followed with a surprise visit from Ramesh's deaf uncle who is in denial and refuses to wear hearing aids and got us cracking with his funny replies to the questions he's asked for, and then the noisy neighbours Dulanthi had been trying to avoid the whole week so they wouldn't know of the dinner party. (Dulanthi actually went to the heights of locking herself up in her room so when the neighbors come over they won't have to meet her!)

Then comes the Pereras, who suggests crazy, expensive ideas to Dulanthi in order to get rid of the neighbours, (mind you it also came with a heavy price!) Ramesh's brother-in-law to take away Uncle Charlie until the whole fiasco is sorted and a giant misunderstanding where the neighbours thought Ramesh wasn't only a wife beater, but a womanizer and a murderer too!

And finally, when everything was sorted out, Dulanthi was left in shock when the neighbours finally learn of the dinner party and get themselves invited. So much for keeping them away.

At least the furniture did arrive on time ( thank God for that!)

Indu Dharmasena certainly didn't fail to surprise us with this comedy and his cast with the brilliant acting. It was a show that was a must watch with a story that's extremely relatable and only left us with fits of laughter (and yes, this was so much better than Keeping up with the Kardashians I must admit!)

I also had the chance to ask a few of the members of the audience on what they thought about the show.

Harshini

It was hilarious! I generally come to Indu's shows and they are brilliant. It's difficult to make people laugh and he's doing a great job at it.

Nafeesa

Very true to life and funny.

Diyani

It's really good and is a very relatable comedy of what happens in day to day life.
