New designers showcase their collections! 
 
Pop up stores the perfect place for retail therapy... 
 
Aura Cafe, Colombo will play host to several of Colombo’s young designers who will be selling their merchandise at a special pop up Christmas Sale. The ideal opportunity to engage in some pre Christmas retail therapy and buy those last minute Christmas gifts, the pop up store will have a variety of goodies ranging from clothing, swimwear, jewellery, homeware and beauty products will be on offer. 
 
 
Upcoming fashion designer Tarja De Silva will be selling clothing from her latest range of ready to wear and resort beach wear collections - Devil Dancer which showcased at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Apparel awards and the Annasi collection which previewed at Colombo Fashion Week Resort Wear 2015. All her products are handmade using batik, dip dye and tie technique in easy and comfort driven silhouettes that place emphasis on quirky prints and handmade textiles. 
 
 
 
Carving a niche as one of the island’s best swimwear designers Rukshi’s Rum Punch label offers a range of swimwear, resort shorts, beach wraps and batik bangles. Available from the Active Tribal Collection the swimwear is one of a kind with the high waist crop swim set being reversible so that you can wear both sides and have two different looks. 
 
 
 
Jewellery designer Dierdre De Livera’s Aganaa jewellery is made with semi precious stones and contains several eye catching pieces that would look fab on anyone. Beautifully crafted where no two pieces are identical, these items of jewellery will tick all the right boxes for those seeking something special. 
 
 
 
Angelina Senevirathne’s label Curves will have on offer a range of beach cover ups, evening and casual wear. Grey denim and yellow mixed pieces from her “An English Affair” collection will feature highly. Most items are one off exclusive pieces.
