1. What do you look for in a relationship?
For me, the most important things in a relationship are honesty, trust and love. There should be no secrets. Most importantly, I shouldn't have to make any drastic changes in the way I live just because I am in a relationship. That person should fully accept me, quirks and all. Simply, each day should feel like magic, everything should feel perfect even if it's not.
2. “Try ‘em before you buy ‘em?"
Absolutely! Nothing else to say.
3. Love or lust? Why?
This really depends on one's emotional status. If a person has a bad history with love then they might chose lust only, at least till they are healed and ready to fall in love again. One could choose just lust because it's something which is very much simpler than love. Lust is an altered state of consciousness programmed by the primal urge to procreate. In my opinion, since sex got easier to get, love got harder to find. In the long term, love is very much better than just lust. Love is something real and long lasting, it's not something which will be gone by the time the sun comes up! Personally, I don't think I am ready to fall in love, not with the current lifestyle I live.
4. The best feature in a woman?
For me, the best feature in a woman is more within her interior than the exterior. I don't care even if she looks like Kate Upton or Scarlett Johansson if she doesn't have a beautiful heart! A woman with a perfect body is good for a night but if a woman has a beautiful heart, she's not just good for one night but for a whole lifetime.
5. Why does it seem like many guys today are avoiding relationships or can’t stand to be in one for too long?
In my point of view, guys do it because most relationships require some sort of sacrifice and change and they do not like it. In my personal experience, when you get used to a certain lifestyle, changing it becomes very difficult. Most, including me feel that our freedom will diminish. Also when in a relationship, unlike before, all the things you do will not only affect you but your partner as well and both people could be hurt easily because when in a serious relationship both people are uniquely vulnerable. Honestly, what I think is, when you get into a relationship, life becomes more complicated and it will not be as simple as before. You can't do what you used to do. At the same time there are some guys who are looking for something temporary. For example: it's like buying a new car. Your car will have that new car smell but as the days go by the new car smell fades and it's not the same. Eventually you'll sell it and buy a new car. It's all about the raw chemistry between the two people, if the chemistry just doesn't work, there is absolutely no point in hopelessly holding on.
6. What is your definition of love?
Love is the most complicated, powerful and noble of all human emotions. It's like eating dark chocolate, you are left with a bitter taste in your mouth but you keep on going back for it. Quite simply, love is an untamed force. When we try to control it, it destroys us. When we try to imprison it, it enslaves us. When we try to understand it, it leaves us feeling lost and confused but if you let it in and allow it to do it's thing, you'll be the happiest man alive. All those poets are right: Love is eternal.
