It is often a challenge that some people face to maintain a long distance relationship. Think about it – you don’t get to see your partner physically although platforms such as Skype and other video messaging do make it all the more closer to the same experience. But at some point, you may lose that ‘spark’ you once had. Today, we ask our readers if they think people are able to hold on to their relationships and keep going regardless of the thousands of miles between.
Kheminda - It requires both to come to a good understanding, it’s about freedoms instead of limitations and loyalty. And constantly putting an effort to make the distance seem less significant than it really is.
Harini - Basically my opinion on long distance relationship is that differs within different people. If the bond between both of them is strong, a long distance relationship would work out. Basically strong means, having trust, mutual understanding and love that is strong enough to not let go though how far his /her partner is. For most of the teenagers it's quite hard to manage along distance relationship cause what relationship actually means for them is about the attraction between male and female. That's what they take love as. It literally depends on the age. For an example there are so many married couples who lives apart from each other due to working circumstances. But they tend to believe in each other live. Briefly if I get to my point, like I said before long distance relationship works out , as long as matured understanding and love is there. It all differs from how people think psychologically.
Raneesha - I would really like to think long distance relationships work. It depends on individual capacity. Considering human nature, it is very unlikely because people fail to control their desires. Then again, a person who doesn’t know any better would wait for their partner. Or as they say, so called 'true love' I will avoid such commitments at all times unless my partner agrees it should be kept an 'open relationship.
Amie - A long-distance relationship needs trust. This trust grows from a foundation that is built when you are in the same country. I have no faith in a relationship that starts off in two countries but it could work if you have been together for a significant amount of time before the physical distance.
Dyan - Distance means so little when someone means so much, so I guess real love would always have the chance even if their a thousand miles apart.
