Arty Crafty Fun - Creating a timeless masterpiece with imprint art

Before we know it our little bundles of joy that we brought home are all grown up and off on their own little adventures, hopefully equipped with all the wisdom you have taught them over the years. This arts and crafts activity can be done for any age group, though it is always delightful to see their little hands and feet during their early years and truly understand the saying ‘Good things do come in small sizes’.
1. Get any coloured bristle board or cardboard sheet.
2. Then cut the sheet to your specified size requirements.
3. Take baby’s hands or feet, and paint them with your choice of paint colour. Make sure you use non-toxic paint.
4. Imprint the hand or foot on the card sheet, and immediately wash paint off the baby’s hand or foot.
5. You now have a permanent imprint of you baby’s hand or foot at the age that you have chosen to do it.
6. You can further embellish this work of art by either writing a memorable verse or decorating it with photos and adding a few sparkling effects like sequins, ribbons or glitter.
This piece of imprint art is a good exercise for you to do with your other children. It will give you some quality time with your other child who might feel ignored with the arrival of the new baby. The timeless piece of art can also be gifted to proud relatives who would appreciate this timeless art memorabilia. Enjoy and get creative!
