What made you enter Law & Events?
Law: I love reading and writing and hence studying Law in University at the time seemed like an interesting option.
Events: I like organising and putting things together. I like seeing my ideas come to life. I get bored easily and hence Events keep me constantly entertained – no two events are the same and you have one chance to either execute the event right or make a right royal mess of it, and once it’s over it’s over.
What is the one book everyone should read? All books by Jean Sasson – Princess, Daughters of Arabia, Desert Royal, Mayada, etc.
Carlton Super 7s Opening Ceremony, what’s being done differently this year?
The management opted to working with Internationally renowned Musicians instead of Bollywood Musicians and Actresses for the Opening Ceremony. 2012 saw Preity Zinta, Bipasha Basu, Sameera Reddy and Vivek Oberoi at the Carlton Rugby 7s. 2013 will see Taio Cruz, Sean Kingston and Big Reeno.
How has it been working with the artistes?
An interesting experience; the artistes have been very accommodative to all our requests and it was definitely an interesting experience to be involved in the making of a Theme Song and Music Video with two internationally acclaimed musicians and several industry experts from LA (Lyricists, Composers, Music Video Directors, etc.)
What’s the Theme Song like?
It’s an inspirational and motivational song, almost like an anthem. Done in a similar style to other such similar theme songs from International Sporting events like the Olympics, Football World Cup, etc. It’s called ‘Celebrate’ and it’s Produced, Composed, Performed and Written by Sean Kingston and Big Reeno. It will be performed live and formally launched and released at the concert on the 12th of July 2013.
Share Details of the Concert?
The Carlton Super 7’s Launch Concert 2013 will be held on Friday the 12th of July 2013 at the CR & FC Grounds, Colombo 07. It will commence at 19:00 hours followed by a live 60-minute performance by American Hip Hop artist Big Reeno. The formal launch of the tournament theme song will commence shortly after and will be followed by an energetic and entertaining 60-minute performance by American RnB artiste Sean Kingston and it will conclude after a 60-minute performance by the headlining act, British Born, Multi Platinum selling,
Brit and Grammy Award Winning Artist – Taio Cruz.

If you were a house, what would you say to the people living inside you? I get bored easily! So constantly keep entertaining me or I’ll uproot myself and leave without a care in the world!
If you could travel through time and meet yourself when you were a kid, what would you say? Life’s fun and entertaining Rish, but it's not an easy ride! Strap yourself up and be prepared for one big roller coaster ride!

And it doesnt have to be costly either....Thats a misconception that shouldnt be popularized... One can look good, stylish, fashionable wearing what is suitable to body shape and occasion. There are plenty of people who wear brands but look ridiculous...! hope the author thinks more before penning his words..........
