The Alliance Française de Colombo is delighted to invite the visual artist Aadhitya Jayaseelan, the sound healer Rachel Chanmugam and the classical pianist Vidura Rodrigo for an improvised, ritualistic performance. Trivid explores the individual and collective intentions that we have this new year through the triad of ritualistic sound healing, painting and classical music. The performance
experiments with the visual manifestation of sounds and the translation of sounds and music into colours, shapes and such artistic motifs on a canvas.

It tests the chemistry between sound and art as well as healing sound effects and the French composer Eric Satie's music. It takes place on the 12th of January, at 7.00 pm at the Alliance Française de Colombo, 11, Barnes Place, Colombo 07.
