What’s trending with Pissu Kanna for the year 2023? My fashion store is trending. Our relax tee went viral selling a whopping 2.2 million in total sales by December. We were completely sold out by the first week of December. It went really well for us in 2022 and we cannot wait to see what 2023 brings us. Also, I started making English content for the Australian audience. You will be able to see that new stuff soon on a new channel. 

If not for Covid - would have we met PK? Honestly, I don't think so. Being stuck in one place during covid really pushed me to finally take action and do what I always loved to do. I believe that every person should be pushed to a corner at least once in their lives, so they can be the best of themselves. 

You have got into fashion. How is that going? It has been an amazing experience. I always loved fashion and always wanted my own fashion label. Being a hot and humid country, Sri Lanka was lacking a good comfort-wear brand, so I decided to go for it. I work for the fastest-growing comfort wear brand in Australia (Oodie) so I was heavily inspired by it. We now have 200+ five-star reviews, not even ONE bad review because we put so much effort into customer service, research and development. We also opened our store in Dubai under the name 'Kapu'. I now have a fully-fledged team to handle it all. My goal is to make it one of the biggest comfort wear brands in the world. 

What trends do you have in mind for the new year? We have a new men's relax tee collection coming up. One of our customers gave us the idea and we were blown away by it. We also developed a relax tee for kids which is super cute. Other than that, we have a new shorts collection coming up that compliments the relax tee. 

Tell me what inspires your designs? Our relax tee is inspired by an oversized t-shirt that is being sold in Australia. It is very popular here during summer and I thought that it's perfect for the Sri Lankan weather. We did some iterations to that original design like adding the side pockets and making it longer. We also used Sri Lankan cotton to manufacture them which is known to be the best cotton in the world. We now have Australians inquiring to purchase our items because it's way cheaper and way better than what they get here.

There has never been a greater time in history to make an online business and you better capitalise on it before it's too late. Read many books that will differentiate you from the rest.
