Yes! it will be finally be released.. As it was announced last year, Wagon Park will be releasing their debut album “Stoned” on the 1st of February and which is of course is great news for their loyal fans since they have been impatiently waiting for the release of this album.  

Wagon Park has been active as a rock band in Sri Lanka since 2007, performing original compositions that defines an old school rock n’ roll sound. Their ever-growing loyal fan base has encouraged them to record their own material after years of hard work.

The album will include ten original compositions where eight of which will be in English, one of them in English and Dhivehi (Maldivian) and one with Sinhala and English lyrics. Fan favourites such as Jingy Bingy Blues, Sugar Cane Flavoured Blunt and Stoned are also forming part of the ten tracks in the album.

The event will be quite a momentous day for the band mates Buddhi, Fira, Maddha, Mahesh, Nuwan and Milo as much as it is for their fans, since the band will finally be able to release an album which took quite amount of time and effort, but yet it was all worth it for the band mates of Wagon Park since they were driven by their passion for music and the dedication they have towards their fans.

The band will be releasing their debut album “Stoned” on the 1st of February 2014 at the Western Province Aesthetic Resort which is at No.75/74, Prof. Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha, Colombo 7) starting at 7.00 p.m. Wagon Park’s debut album will be available for Rs.1000/- at the launch and it will also be the entrance pass for the event.
