Jennifer Lopez was rushed off the set of her music video in Florida after shots were reportedly fired nearby.
The 43-year-old singer was filming an interview with 'Entertainment Tonight's Rob Marciano on the set the video for 'Live It Up', her collaboration with Pitbull, at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park when the shots were heard and the area was cleared.
Rob tweeted: "BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away... Can hear & see ambulances converging 400 yards down the street... Police confirming: 'shots fired. no one hit.' Whew (sic)."
However, Fort Lauderdale Police Department spokesman Detective DeAnna Greenlaw said there appeared to be no evidence of a shooting, no witnesses and no injuries.
It was recently claimed 'American Idol' bosses tried to bring Jennifer back to the show earlier this season to replace Mariah Carey but once they were threatened with legal action by Mariah's team they backed off.
Mariah was a huge signing for the show, but has proved less popular with viewers on the show than Jennifer, who appeared in the previous two seasons, was.
