Britain's Prince George has become a member of Bosnia's top soccer club.

The tiny tot - who was welcomed into the world three weeks ago - has been given a junior membership card for FK Zeljeznicar as a gesture of the gratitude for the humanitarian work his late grandmother, Princess Diana, carried out in the country.

A statement published by the football club, said: "England is a cradle of football... The love of football links the United Kingdom and our country.

"It should not be forgotten that he is also a grandson of the tragically killed Princess Diana who has been remembered in our country for her humanitarian work and help in mine clearing."

Meanwhile, the royal baby - who is third-in-line to the throne - has been staying with his mother Duchess Catherine at her parents Carole and Michael Middleton's home in Bucklebury, Berkshire, while renovation works are being carried out at their apartment at Kensington Palace in London.

Prince William recently returned to work as a search and rescue pilot for the RAF in Anglesey after just two weeks paternity leave, but he only has one month left in Wales before he is able to relocate to be closer to his family.

There was speculation the couple could move to Anmer Summer Hall on the Queen's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, although sources say this is likely to be further in the future.
