Paris Jackson is in a "tough spot" following her alleged suicide attempt.

The 15-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson is still in hospital after reportedly slashing her wrists earlier this month and her cousin and co-guardian T.J. Jackson - the son of Michael's brother Tito - admitted things are tough but he is hopeful she can get through it.

Speaking at the Jackson family's wrongful death lawsuit against concert promoters AEG Live on Thursday (27.06.13), he said: "Paris has a heart of gold. I just think the loss of my uncle has hit her at a different level. She's in a tough spot, but we're all loving her and doing everything we can to get her where she should be.

"It's tough. She was daddy's girl. My uncle was her world."

Tito also revealed Michael's mother Katherine has been struggling to cope since the King of Pop's death from a Propofol overdose in June 2009.

He said: "Our children are supposed to outlive us, so it's been very difficult on our grandmother. He was just everything."

Tito also praised Michael's son Prince, 16, as "an amazing person" and admitted his youngest child Blanket, 11, is extremely shy.

He added: "Since Prince was a kid, he's always been one of the smartest kids I've ever seen or known, reading books at a young age, devouring books.

"Blanket was always very shy. He was always wrapped around (Michael's) leg, right behind his leg. Wherever my uncle was, Blanket was there. My uncle was everything to Blanket."

The Jacksons are suing AEG Live for hiring and not properly investigating Dr. Conrad Murray, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for his role in Michael's death. However, AEG insists they are not responsible as Michael covered up his drug use.
