Jith Pieris together with the dynamic crew at the Creative Arts Foundation will breathe life into a British Comedy/Farce – ‘No Sex Please We’re British’ that drew large audiences world over, this March. The Foundation is known for staging award winning plays and doing justice to the work of playwrights.

WHAT

‘No Sex Please We’re British’ is a British comedy that hinges on time. An assistant bank manager, Peter Hunter who lives above his bank with his new bride Frances sends a mail order for some Scandinavian glassware but receives Scandinavian pornography to his dismay. The comedy escalates as the couple attempts to solve their predicament that includes veritable floods of pornography, books, films and girls who threaten to destroy the bond the happy couple share… The matter is only magnified with the presence of Peter’s Mother, his boss, a visiting bank inspector and a Police Superintendent who all end up in the Hunter home in an attempt to solve hands-on, an act of delinquency. Almost.
