Michael Buble has praised Reese Witherspoon for showing "graciousness and class" in the wake of her arrest.
The Canadian singer - who recorded a cover version of 'Something Stupid' with the 37-year-old actress for his new album 'To Be Loved' - "adores" the 'Mud' star for holding her head up high since being charged with disorderly conduct on April 19, after confronting a police officer who had arrested her husband Jim Toth on suspicion of DUI in Atlanta, Georgia.
Referring to the mother-of-three as "a kind, humble, down-to-earth, real girl," he told 'ET Canada': "Everyone makes mistakes. It's just a matter of, really, how you come back from 'em.
"I thought that she just showed graciousness and class and great dignity. I hope that when I make mistakes, I come back the same way...I'm sure she wishes she could go back, but the truth is, she's got a beautiful family and beautiful kids, and I think that's what's most important for her.
"I really enjoy spending time with her and her husband."
Michael, 37, previously revealed that he and Reese became very close when recording their duet and she was the first person he told that his model and actress wife Luisana Lopilato, 25, is expecting their first child.
He said: "I had just found out [we were expecting]. It was the greatest day of my life, so I just said, 'You know, I'm having a baby!'
"And Reese was so sweet about it and excited for me. It was nice for us to bond that way. I told her before anyone else in the world knew -- even members of my own family!"
