Luke Bryan and Miranda Lambert won big at the American Country Awards (ACA) last night (10.12.12).

The 36-year-old star swept the board picking up nine accolades at the ceremony - which he attended with wife Caroline Boyer - including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for 'Tailgates & Tanlines' as well as six prizes, such as Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year, for his hit song 'I Don't Want This Night to End'.

Miranda took home three gongs at the event - which took place at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas - for her track 'Over You', including Single of the Year: Female and Music Video of the Year: Female.

Carrie Underwood was also a big winner at the ceremony - which was hosted by Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth - as she beat off competition from country heavyweights Taylor Swift, Sara Evans, Martina McBride and Miranda to win Artist of the Year: Female.

Collecting her accolade, she told the audience: "I know that I'm one of the most luckiest people, just blessed people."

The two-hour event featured an appearance from Carmen Electra and performances by LeAnn Rimes, Fleetwood Mac and Scotty McCreery before Lady Antebellum - who won Artist of the Year: Group and Single of the Year: Group for 'We Owned the Night' - closed the ceremony with a festive tune.
