Indu Dharmasena is back this season with yet another side-splitting original “Love, Lies and Wild Life” that hinges on the theme of infidelity which complicates the lives of the guests and staff of a certain Wild Life Lodge. The owner of The Wild Life Lodge, Sam Boladeniya and his staff are on their toes because Niranjan Papolwatta, a regular visitor to the hotel is bringing his lover, the leading actress Surekha for the long weekend. Things take an unpredicted turn when Papolwatta’s wife Anu who is under the impression that her husband made the reservation to celebrate their wedding anniversary turns up at the Lodge!

Papolwatta is met at crossroads with his wife at the Lodge and his lover Surekha on her way to the Lodge, when Sam is compelled to intervene, play neutral ground and save Papolwatta’s marriage. But will he be successful?

Will Surekha’s straight laced uncle William Gasgoda and his wife Gloria be of any help? Will the presence of the prominent journalist Namali and her friend Rehana complicate matters? One lie leads to another and so begins the roller coaster ride that will no doubt keep the audience in hysterics throughout the play!

The well-meaning owner of the hotel Sam Boladeniya is played by Indu and is ably supported by Yasal Ruhunage playing Siri his trusted man and Sanwada Dharmasena playing Manori the new receptionist. The philandering businessman Niranjan Papolwatta is brought to life by Anoop Kapukotuwa while his wife Anu is portrayed by Keshya Leitch who is no stranger to English theatre.

The officious and straight laced William Gasgoda is played by Anushan Selverajah and his gentle wife is played by Chithranga Kariyawasan who is well known for her portrayal of the Dubai returnee, Aunty Lucy in Indu’s popular “Tommiya” series.
