The students of Dance Works Centre return to the stage with their latest production - "Let There Be Dance" and are all set to wow audiences with a line up of a variety of genres including ballet, freestyle, modern jazz, hip hop, tap and contemporary. 
 
Choreographed and produced by the the directress of Dance Works Centre, Kanthi Ranchigoda, the students will showcase their undeniable talent as they engage in an art form that they love and in turn put on a show that will no doubt enliven the audience.
 
 
Kanthi Ranchigoda is a name in the world of dance that needs no introduction. She has been associated with dance for over three decades now and has been training budding dancers for nearly as long. 
 
Speaking on what the audience could expect from the show, Kanthi states, "I would expect the best from any show I go to. The best numbers and lighting and costumes. When the audience look at the dance, they would definitely be entertained. I am confident about the abilities of my students.They will do a good job keeping the audience going."
 
As it has been with all her previous productions, the proceeds of "Let There Be Dance" too will be donated to SUROL, the Society for Upliftment and Rehabilitation of Persons Affected by Leprosy in Sri Lanka.
 
"Let There Be Dance" will go on the boards at the Lionel Wendt on the 30th and 31st of October as well as the 1st of November. 
 
 
Tickets priced Rs. 2500, Rs. 2000 and Rs. 600 are available at the dance studio located at 70A, Lauries Road, Colombo 4.
