Kendall Jenner wants to take a break from the spotlight.
The 17-year-old reality TV star - who recently hit back at critics for taunting her for being "too skinny" - has admitted that while she appreciates her family's success, she would love to be a "normal kid".
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star told the May issue of US Cosmopolitan magazine: "The show brought us everything we have, and I realise that, but sometimes I just want to be left alone and be a normal kid for like five minutes."
Kendall, who is carving out a career as a model, also brushed off rumours she is set to star in a spin-off reality show for E! with her younger sister Kylie, 15.
She said: "That's not happening. Modelling is my number one priority -- one hundred percent."
Kendall previously confessed she feels like she missed out on a normal childhood.
She said: "We appreciate everything that we have. But we don't remember what it's like to
be normal kids who aren't harassed by the paparazzi. I hate that."
Kylie, 15, also added: "No one really knows what we are like. People read about us on Twitter, but they don't know what we do all day long. We don't really have privacy, but we have an aspect that people don't know about."
But the sisters - whose parents are Bruce and Kris Jenner - claim they have no regrets about first appearing on TV five years ago because it has united their family.
They said: "Our family is closer because of the show. And when we are older, we'll have the memories on tape."

Apr 04, 2013 at 12:00 amWhat a little hypocrite. Every time a camera is pointed her way she poses and takes part in a gaudy reality show in the US. Her whole family are publicity seekers. If she wants a normal life, then all she has to do is not take part in this charade of a reality show on TV.
