Justin Bieber will soon find out whether he will be prosecuted for allegedly spitting on his neighbour and threatening to kill him.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney is currently deciding whether to bring charges against the 19-year-old Canadian star for the incident, which took place outside his Calabasas home in March after his neighbour confronted him for racing his Ferrari in their gated community.
The L.A. County Sheriff's Department investigated the case and sent the file to the District Attorney (D.A.) on Tuesday (07.05.13), according to gossip website TMZ.com.
Law enforcement sources said that the Sheriff's investigators are urging prosecutors to charge the singer with battery and think the 'Beauty And A Beat' singer should be ordered to undergo counselling for bad behaviour rather than be sent to jail.
One source said that investigators are worried that Justin is either going to "get his ass kicked" or "someone's gonna get a $2 million payday" unless the singer learns to cope with his temper.
The D.A. is expected to make a decision on the case soon.
Justin has previously denied spitting on his 47-year-old neighbour or threatening to kill him after he was confronted about "reckless driving" on their street.
