Joy to the World, an extravaganza of Christmas music, organized by the Blessed Joseph Vaz  Trust, together with the Archdiocese of Colombo, will be held on December 14, 2013 at the Nelum Pokuna  Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre. This programme which is being staged for the fourth consecutive year, will feature the popular duo De Lanerolle Brothers, Voice Print, and Pueri Cantores, a choir comprising 150 children, directed by Francis Almeida.

An added attraction to the programme will be the performance of internationally reputed artistes, Soprano Helen Massey, who had studied at the Royal College and Royal Academey of Music and Pianist Caroline Jaya-Ratnam, who has a Master’s Degree in Solo Piano from Cambridge University.  Both artistes have won awards and performed at several prestigious concerts and venues.

Proceeds of Joy to the World will be utilized for the Poverty Alleviation projects of the Archdiocese of Colombo and the Blessed Joseph Vaz Trust.

Tickets are priced at Rs. 3,000, Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 750.
