The Jonas Brothers have confirmed they have split.
The 'Pom Poms' hitmakers - made up of siblings Kevin, 25, Joe, 24, and 21-year-old Nick, sparked speculation they had split earlier this month after cancelling their US tour due to a "deep rift within the band" and deleting their Twitter account have confirmed they are going their separate ways - though they haven't ruled out getting back together in future.
Kevin said: "It's over for now."
Nick added: "It's really hard to say 'forever'. We're closing a chapter, for sure."
The trio met up on October 3, and agreed to split after Nick told his brothers he had "serious concerns" about the future of the band.
He told People: "I was feeling kind of trapped.I needed to share my heart with my brothers."
And his siblings agreed with his view.
Joe added: "It was a unanimous decision."
The Jonas Brothers have sold over 20 million records since releasing their 2006 debut album 'It's About Time' and have starred in a string of Disney movies.
The 'SOS' singers' American tour was due to start in Philadelphia on October 11 but they cancelled the gigs following a major argument about the "direction" their music was going.
Their spokesperson Jesse Derris said recently: "There is a deep rift within the band. There was a big a disagreement over their music direction."
