Ellen Page is making her directorial debut.
The 'Juno' actress will step behind the camera to helm her very first drama, 'Miss Stevens', and has enlisted 'Scary Movie' comedienne Anna Faris to play the titular role.
The film, scripted by Julia Hart, will see Anna portray a depressed teacher who chaperones a group of high school students on a weekend trip to a state drama competition, Dealine reports. Thanks to the admiration and help of her students, she learns to discover her own self-worth.
Gary Gilbert and Jordan Horowitz of Gilbert Films are producing along with Doug Wald of Anonymous Content. Nicole Romano and Trevor Adley of Anonymous Content are executive producing.
Anna is currently starring in 'I Give It A Year' opposite Rose Byrne, while Ellen will next appear in Sundance Film Festival hit 'The East'.
The 25-year-old 'Inception' star will juggle her filmmaking duties with shooting mutant superhero franchise 'X-Men: Days Of Future Past', in which she is due to reprise her role as Kitty Pryde, a girl who possesses the power to pass through almost any object.
