How easy or difficult was it to get in to your characters?

Minsandi :  Anushka and I are twins in the play. Therefore we have to have mirror movements all the time.

Yalindi : It is kind of tough. I have to be quite hyperactive whereas I am a bit calm in nature.

Arish : I joined recently but it has been fun.

Anouki : I have to drive them completely mad. I say things that are meaningless.

Lakshmi : I too have to act crazy.

Selena : Mine is a very easy character. I always doze off and they try to wake me up throwing things at me.

Thehara : I am a cat. So I have to do everything like a cat which is a bit tough. There is a scene where I have to get down a tree and it is quite difficult.

Lauren : As the Duchess I have to act very bossy and I have to hate my baby which is actually impossible.

How do you feel about this opportunity given to you by the Academy?

We are really privileged to be involved in this production. We would like to thank Aunty Wendy, Ruvin and Vindhya for tolerating us and giving us all the freedom to explore ourselves and show off our talents. Also we are now like a family and working with each other is really fun. Some of us were nervous at the beginning because they are first timers, but we all became very confident in ourselves and are looking forward to pull out a grand show.
