Cameron Diaz and Milla Jovovich are to join the 'ExpendaBelles'.
The A-list actresses are reportedly being signed up to star in the female version of Sylvester Stallon's action movie, 'The Expendables', alongside Meryl Streep.
Avi Lerner will produce the film and has already announced that he is after a female director to work on the script penned by 'Legally Blonde' writers Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith.
Speaking to the Standart News, he said: "There will be battles, special and visual effects and stunts - the spectacle will be equivalent to what Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson and Jean Claude Van Damme have done ... Two excellent screenwriters are already working on the picture. Now we are in search of a female director".
Diaz has experienced in action movies after starring in the 'Charlie's Angels' films, while Streep took on a role in 'The River Wild', and Jovovich plays a stalwart of the 'Resident Evil' series.
Details about the 'Expendabelles' have been under tight-lip until now, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
