Watch Out For These Movies!

What a month it has been, with Captain America: Civil War making $737.7 million during its international rollout. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have plenty of other exciting new trailers to check out this week. 

Bad Moms 

Has it ever crossed your minds, that what if The Hangover wasn’t a movie about a bunch of wild-and-crazy guys but about a bunch of moms who decided to go get wasted out of their minds? Well, the writers who came up with The Hangover apparently asked themselves these questions as well. Bad Moms is their answer. The movie comes out July 29th, featuring Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Christina Applegate. 

Me Before You 

If you’re a drama junkie, then you’ve probably come across Me Before You. If you haven’t then, you should! This movie hits cinemas on June 3rd, you’ve seen both Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) and Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games) in completely different types of movies so far, but this time, they pair up for what looks like a totally heartbreaking love story. 

Now You See Me 2 

Hold your horses. Let’s ignore the ironic fact that Daniel Radcliffe is staring in a movie about magic that’s not included in the Harry Potter universe. Even so, Now You See Me 2 should be on your radar on June 10th when it launches, as it brings back the same crew of magically-gifted crooks from the first movie, including Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Mark Ruffalo, and Michael Caine. 

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 

Our crime fighting turtles are back. Leonardo. Donatello. Raphael. Michelangelo. Oh, and April. That’s all you need to know. The sequel of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will hit cinemas on June 3rd. 

The Shallows 

The Shallows isn’t just another shark movie, in this one we’ve got Blake Lively, a daring surfer stranded 200 yards from shore in the middle of the feeding grounds of a great white shark. And the shark looks incredibly scary. The Shallows comes out June 29th. 

Nerve 

Emma Roberts, a high school senior finds herself immersed in an online game of truth or dare, where every move starts to become manipulated by an annoymous community of “watchers.” This triller will hit cinemas on July 27th. 

Finding Dory 

Everyone’s friendly-but-forgetful blue tang fish reunites with her loved ones, and everyone learns a few things about the real meaning of family along the way. Splashing screens on the 17th of July. 

Independence Day: Resurgence 

Two decades after the first Independence Day invasion, Earth is faced with a new extra-solar threat. But will mankind's new space defenses be enough? Featuring Jeff Goldblum, William Fichtner and Liam Hemsworth, this action sci-Fi movie will hit cinemas on June 24th. 

Central Intelligence 

Dwayne Johnson reunites with an old pal through Facebook, Kevin Hart; a mild-mannered accountant is lured into the world of international espionage. Forming a duo that will have you laughing plenty, this action comedy will hit cinemas on July 17th. 

Swiss Army Man 

Paul Dano, a hopeless man stranded in the wilderness befriends a dead body played by Daniel Radcliffe and together they go on a surreal journey to get home. This comedy drama will hit cinema’s on July 1st. 

Ghostbusters 

30 years after Ghostbusters took the world by storm, the beloved franchise makes its long-awaited return. Director Paul Feig brings his fresh take to the supernatural comedy, joined by some of the funniest actors working today. Featuring Chris Hemsworth, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, this hits cinemas on 15th July.
