Leading fashion model Ina, of mixed Sri Lankan and German parentage is forging ahead as an entrepreneur. An advocate of clean living Ina is the founder of Soul Food, a range of vegan food and drink which is popular amongst the vegan community in Colombo. This week, she shares her travel stories.
Why do you love travel?
I love to explore new countries, cultures, cuisines and people.
Your favourite travel destination and why?
Austria - I am a huge fan of snowboarding!
What do you need for a perfect holiday?
My husband - he is the best travel companion and can make any holiday perfect.
In which country have you felt most at home?
Since I am from Germany I would say Sri Lanka.
Most unusual souvenir you have brought home?
A unique stone from the Grand Canyon that showed layers of water marks from over the years.
Worst holiday or travel experience?
Thank God, I haven't had any bad experiences so far.
Best piece of travel advice?
Always take your own comfy pillow with you.

Austria, Thailand, Spain, USA and Italy.
What has travel taught you?
To be thankful for what you have.

Thailand.
