Kanye West, Mumford & Sons and Jay-Z have landed six nominations each for the Grammy Awards 2013.
 
The hip-hop artists and folk-rockers were joined by Frank Ocean and The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach in gaining the most nods when the shortlist was announced in Nashville, Tennessee, last night (05.12.12).
 
Indie group fun. also boasted an impressive haul, scoring nominations in the four major categories; Record of the Year and Song of the Year for their single 'We Are Young feat. Janelle Monae', Album of the Year for their debut 'Some Nights', and Best New Artist.
 
Speaking after they had performed at the nominations, fun. singer Nate Ruess said: "Tonight, all I wanted to do was get up and really give it our all receiving the nomination is amazing and a culmination of hard work the three of us have put into this band."
 
fun. share three of their nominations with Frank, who's 'Channel Orange' is up for Album of the Year, his single 'Thinkin' Bout You' is up for Record of the Year, and who also has a nomination in the Best New Artist category.
 
Rounding out the Record of the Year category are The Black Keys' 'Lonely Boy', Kelly Clarkson's 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)', Gotye's 'Somebody That I Used To Know' and Taylor Swift's 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'.
 
Album of the Year sees fun. and Frank joined by The Black Keys' 'El Camino', Mumford and Sons' 'Babel' and Jack White's 'Blunderbuss'.
 
The other non-genre specific category, Song of the Year, also featured nominations for Ed Sheeran for 'The A Team', Miguel Pimentel for 'Adorn', Carly Rae Jepsen for 'Call me Maybe' and Kelly Clarkson's 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)', alongside fun.
