Who says healthy food has to be boring and bland? Head over to Eat Right situated under the High Octane gym and indulge in their yummy blends and dishes and not feel a tad bit guilty about it! Your mind might trick you into thinking otherwise simply because the food is that good!

Stepping out with a leap of faith, Minoli and her team opened up the restaurant on June 24. For sticking to word of mouth advertising, the restaurant is doing very well with their deliveries, regulars and many who walk in.

What is most attractive about the place is their fabulous customer service! Minoli and Thilanka who is their bubbly and hyper customer relations manager serve the dishes to you themselves.

(Friendliness of staff - 5/5)

When you walk in, the bright and beautiful interior embraces you and immediately improves your mood. The layout is well thought of with an open juice and salad bar run by pleasant and forever grinning chefs.

(Ambience - 5/5)

We first tried their Green Juice of the day (Rs. 400) which was a fabulous blend of avocado, celery, cucumber and green apple.

And for the first time I preferred it to a Banana Chocolate Smoothie (Rs. 450) even though it was yummy as well! This smoothie in particular is popular with the gym junkies.

We then tried their Classic Tabbouleh and Parsley Salad (Rs.450), and for a combination I have never tried before I really enjoyed it.

The salad was followed by the main courses. The Red Rice Mongolian Stir Fry (Rs. 450) was my favourite. It tasted absolutely delicious with lots of seafood in it!

The Grilled Fish with Vegetables (Rs. 650) tasted equally good! For the first time I had a difficult time picking my favourite dish.

We also tried their Topsy Turvy Chicken Kottu (Rs. 450). I was initially surprised to see kottu at a healthy food restaurant, but the dish was filled with veggies and chicken and had very little roti in it. That almost never happens!

We were stuffed by then but they insisted that we try their Caesar Wrap with Grilled Chicken (Rs. 500) as well. It was light and fresh and tasted really good! For all their mains you can choose whether you want Fish, Chicken or a Vegetarian filling.

For dessert they have Muesli Bars (Rs. 300) that were so delicious that we finished quite a few of them throughout our visit. Unfortunately they had run out of their popular Chocolate Chip Cookies. But we did try one of their snack options which was a delicious Fruit Kebab (Rs. 100) with a delicious dipping sauce!

(Food and Value for Money - 5/5)

All the dishes were designed with the guidance of Dr. Sigrid De Silva, Senior Dietician and Nutrition Consultant. If healthy food can be this good I won't have a problem switching to a healthy diet, I can assure that no one will! And Eat Right makes it even better by offering free deliveries within Colombo. They also have customised meal plans that you can subscribe to and you can try it out for a couple days, a week or a month and they will deliver it to your doorstep.

For more information you can check out their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/eatright.lk) or call them on 011 4247247 for reservations and meal plans.
