Green Path, Colombo transformed into a festival of exquisite aromas, lights & music as the World Spice Festival 2011 dominated Hawker’s street over the weekend. Despite the lousy weather, families & food fanatics flocked to the biggest Food extravaganza in the island, which featured a team of celebrity chefs serving an array of ethnic food representing the different cultures across the world.

The carnival of food complemented by live music and cultural items,  commenced on the 28^th of October , while it also kickstarted the week celebrating the cuisines at the respective hotels , which concluded on the 9^th of November.

The crowds experienced the delightful taste of various cuisines including Indian, Chinese, Malaysian, Pakistani, Arabic , Latin American, Spanish, Bavarian, Thai, Indonesian, South African,  Italian, Vietnamese, Singaporean and Sizzling Deserts.

All those who wanted to simply eat and have a good time did not want to miss the festival is a fabulous expression of the Leading hotels & Chefs offering an eclectic global smorgasbord of national and international foods.
