A tasty recipe for triple chocolate chip brownies
Ingredients
¾ cup of flour
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
½ teaspoon espresso powder (optional)
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
2 ounces unsalted butter
2 ounces dark chocolate
2 ounces semisweet chocolate
2 eggs
¾ cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease a baking pan.
In a bowl, mix together the flour, espresso powder, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Keep the bowl aside after mixing together.
Melt the butter, dark chocolate and semisweet chocolate together over a double boiler until the mixture is melted and smooth.
Then, in a separate mixing bowl, beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla essence for about two minutes until light and fluffy.
Fold the melted chocolate into the egg mixture thoroughly.
Next, fold the dry ingredients into the chocolate-egg mixture until everything is combined and no flour is visible.
Pour the batter into the baking pan and smooth it out evenly using a butter knife.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 27-29 minutes until a light crust is formed on top.
Use a toothpick to check if it is completely baked.
Cool and then serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional).
