The Good Market outside Water’s Edge has always been a joy to those who love doing things the natural way, with its surfeit of boutiques selling organic goods. The brand new addition is in line with this unique concept: The Vege Way is an all-vegetarian goodies outlet.

From source level the people at Vege Way at determined to make sure their products are what pure vegetarians will find palatable. Home-made desserts and cakes, which are eggless, are some of Vege Way’s best delights, the cupcakes are a sinful indulgence, and with every bite into it, the impulse to eat another becomes stronger!

Rukmal Chandrasehar, together with her two daughters, Hiranya and Harithra came up with the concept of Vege Way. Rukmal prepares everything, assuring cleanliness, vegetarianism, taste and quality.

The cookies at Vege Way have in them the inimitable streak of flavor that only home-made cookies can have. All ingredients used in the preparation of these items are organic, and have no additive sor preservatives.

The vanilla is home-made as well. The trio is also promoting soy. Soy ice-creams are on sale for just Rs. 80. You will find an interesting tofu wrap, with the wrap made with atta flour at the venue.

Cakes, cupcakes, cookies and pancakes are the range of goodies you can have without the constitution of eggs. The South Indian flat breads can be enjoyed with a complementary touch of ginger chutney or coconut chutney.

The people at The Vege Way understand the need for quality vegetarian dining venues. Harithra commented that despite the growing number of vegetarians, the available restaurants or the choices most restaurants make available are rather limited.

I found a quote I saw on display at the Vege Way to be particularly intriguing and thought provoking; I just have to share: “Wings are for flying, not frying.”

The Vege Way has included the range of desserts to its menu alongside savouries, in order to demonstrate that vegetarians do have a wide variety of dishes to try out, and the decision to be vegetarian is in no way restricting one’s dining choices, there are enough of dishes to eat out there.

Being a non-vegetarian myself, I found their cake mixes and desserts to have a delectably unique taste to them and I suggest you take a visit. If you’re like me, then I strongly recommend you try out some of their items, well, if you are a vegetarian, then I would say you just have to drop in, no second-guessing – you would have perhaps found yourself your new favourite vegetarian eatery around here.
