December is a very busy and stressful time for everyone. The time that one has for her kitchen is very limited. However having said that this is also the time when guests feel more than free to drop in unannounced, which is why having a tasty treat at hand is always necessary.
This recipe was found on http://allrecipes.co.uk . I’m ashamed as to how effortless it really is. Given its convenience and its divine ability to melt in your mouth this recipe is a keeper.
Ingredients:
1 tin of Condensed Milk (Small)
200 g of Cooking Chocolate (Dark)
1/2 tsp of Vanilla
Pinch of Salt
Directions:
Empty the tin of condensed milk in to a heavy based pan.
Melt the cooking chocolate in the condensed milk on a low flame.
Once the chocolate has completely melted, add the vanilla and stir.
Add the pinch of salt to the mixture, stir and remove pan from heat.
Pour the mixture in to medium sized cake tin.
Refrigerate overnight.
Once set cut in to squares.
Disasters, Warnings and Tips
Add some chopped cashew nuts to the mixture.
This recipe only took 15 minutes to conjure up.
Throw in a few pieces of milk chocolate to reduce the harshness of cooking chocolate.
I love chocolate recipes. Licking the pan after making one is always fun.
