Preparing and delivering delicious Lagoon crab has been their mission for the past two years – and now the Crab Company offers two additional sizes of crab for the discerning customer. Large and Extra Large sizes have been added to their repertoire, in addition to their standard size crabs.
Sourcing their product direct from the lagoons means that a constant quality standard is maintained. It is a challenging task, according to Athula Senanayake, the Managing Partner. ‘Seasonal changes mean differing harvesting patterns and as the export market has picked up, securing quality meaty crab is a constant effort.’
They have also added a new preparation, The Hot Garlic Crab option to their popular Sri Lanka Crab Curry with Murunga Leaves, Singapore style Chili Crab and Black Pepper Crab.
Having established a larger facility in Haig Road facing Marine drive near Majestic City, they plan to offer crab preparations at shorter notice to their growing number of regular clients.
The company is also planning an informal Seafood Bistro overlooking the sea at the same premises which is due to open mid-November.
