“Delicious” was the verdict of Mano Chanmugam and the other clientele, who were entertained to a Sunday “kahabath” lunch at Lemon. One always longs for tasty rice and curry away from home, especially on a Sunday, and Mano’s expectations were met when Koluu has dished out a delicious spread of rice and curries las Sunday at Lemon.

Asking Koluu on why they decided to have this Sri Lankan special on Sunday, he replied very frankly, “there are many of us who live alone in our homes and would simply like to have a tasty Sri Lankan meal on Sundays and there is nowhere to have this. Many friends of mine who seem to be faced with the same issue suggested that I have one at Lemon, and from this the idea was born.  It was a great success since all who came for lunch enjoyed it immensely.’

Lemon, which opened two years ago, operates their regular menu as well on Sunday.  The lunch buffet is priced at Rs 1100/- plus taxes and currently there is a buy one get one free offer on beer and wine.  It is a good deal and if you are in the mood for a tasty kahabath meal drop in at Lemon on a Sunday afternoon and enjoy it.
