No the summer heat has not got to me. It does exist and its DELICIOUS. This is a fun, cooling and refreshing treat to be enjoyed by the whole family. What’s even better is that the two main ingredients are what children will eat with no persuasion, Jelly and ice-cream, so all mothers out there here’s another recipe to add to your culinary goddess hat!
Ice-Cream Jello Cake
Ingredients
Packets of Jelly, 3-4 varieties of your choice
Tub of vanilla ice-cream
Method
Add two cups of boiling water to the jelly powder and stir until dissolved.
Add two cups of vanilla ice-cream to the jelly mixture and stir until dissolved. Pour into a glass dish and put in the refrigerate to set.
Once the first layer is set. A creamier layer will rise to the top and set as it cools. You can repeat the process for the other flavors until your rainbow jello cake is formed.
