Ingredients for sponge cake

225g self-raising flour

225g butter, at room temperature

225g sugar

4 eggs

1 teaspoon baking powder
Ingredients for fruit topping

1 packet strawberries
-
2 dragon fruits
-
2 passion fruits
-
Half a lime
-
Sugar to taste
How to make fruit topping

Slice the strawberries thinly and cut the dragon fruit into small squares.

Put them in a dish and add the passion fruit.

Squeeze the lime into the fruit mixture.

Add sugar to taste and mix the fruits together until it has become slightly syrupy.
Method

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.

Measure all the ingredients into a large bowl.

Mix all of the ingredients using a electric whisk.

Pour the mixture into 2 non-stick 7 inch (18cm) tins.

Place them in the oven until golden brown 15-25 minutes.

Cool on a wire rack before serving.
