Sometimes getting kids to eat their fruit can be a never-ending battle. The trick to a victorious solution to this problem is DISGUISE DISGUISE. These tasty fruit crisps are easy to make and can be enjoyed as an accompaniment with ice-cream or as an evening treat.
Ingredients
An assortment of fruit, mangoes, raisins, pineapple (can also use dried fruit if you like)
3 tbsp of melted butter
½ cup brown sugar
¾ cup of uncooked oatmeal
½ cup of flour
1tsp of cinnamon
Method
First butter a medium sized baking dish and layer your fruit. In a separate bowl mix together butter, brown sugar, oatmeal flour and cinnamon.
Spread this mixture over the fruit. You can also add chopped nuts or broken pieces of chocolate if you prefer. Bake in a 350 degree for about 30 minutes until the top in golden and bubbling.
Cut into squares and watch as they disappear off your kitchen table!
