Bread - one of the most underrated comfort foods of all time. Grilled cheese sandwiches, a crispy slice of cheese toast, toast with Nutella or peanut butter - or even jam and cold butter on grilled bread, happen to be some of our favourites when it comes to comfort food at home.

Paan Paan has grown to be a favourite brand among most consumers, as their breads, pastries and sweet baked goodies have been nothing short of delicious, fresh and affordable.

Paan Paan opened a brand new outlet, a week back, which happens to be their third outlet. Their focus is bread, which is available in specific variants in addition to savoury and sweet pastries. 

Bread Variants

Paan Paan, renowned for their range of delicious breads places special focus on healthy breads for health-conscious consumers in addition to the range of regular breads. For the health conscious consumer, one can choose from kurakkan roast paan, multi-seed brown bread and multi-seed low grain bread in addition to breads made from rye flour. Paan Paan also does a delicious, crispy kadey paan, baked with lots of butter - just perfect for eating with cheese, or on its own.

The round and crusty white bread loaf is another option if you prefer white bread. For those sweet bread cravings, the Swiss milk bread is just what you would like. Made with butter and milk, this loaf of bread is delicious and hearty. There are two variants of the Ciabatta bread, which is the regular bread and the crispy bread, which happens to be a bit larger in size. The Bartusa bread is a spicy loaf, made with sun-dried tomatoes, cheese, olives and peppers. Paan Paan also does soft bread rolls available in white and brown in addition to burger and hot dog buns and brown and white sandwich bread loaves.  

Cookies and Delicious Baked Goodies

The outlet also sells freshly baked cookies in packs, and the four variants include coconut rocks, chocolate chip, ginger, and an oat and raisin. Banana bread and butter cake is available, in addition to packaged croutons and mini and large breadsticks. Éclairs, coffee buns and muffins (chocolate, blueberry and an orange and canola) are available on the pastry shelf. The outlet also has cute Christmas goodies in store, and children would love to feast on meringue snowmen, gingerbread stockings, Christmas trees and Santa Claus. Breudher is also available.
 

Savoury Food and Pastries

Also available on the pastry shelf are tea buns, custard buns, spicy tuna buns, chicken puffs, chicken rolls, fish patties, potato patties, and plain, almond and chocolate croissants.

Other Food Items

Paan Paan also sells indulgent homemade milk toffee, sundried tomatoes, tahini sauce, granola, marmalade and ribbon and chocolate cakes - all of which have been sourced from home bakers and suppliers. Seasonal bread baskets have been introduced to the outlet, where customers can choose from the range of breads, pastries and sweet baked products and make their own basket of goodies - to gift or to take home.  

The new Paan Paan outlet is located at No.104, Havelock Road, Colombo 05. They are open from 6.30AM-8PM everyday including public holidays. Paan Paan has started their delivery service with Quickee.lk, where products can be delivered anywhere in Colombo and suburbs.
