CuppaCrème

This season, get your adorable Christmas cupcake fix from CuppaCrème, a home-based bakery venture run by Aaliyah Bawa Mansoor. She does Christmas themed cupcakes in regular and mini sizes, which are available in vanilla or chocolate.

Thush’s Podi Brownie Business

Everyone’s favourite brownie baker is gearing up for the festive season in style, with packages of delicious brownies. Thushanthi de Silva, whose specialty is brownie variations, has been baking decadent brownies with After Eights for those chocolate and mint cravings.

Another addition is the original podi brownies made with dark chocolate chips and a generous dose of Bailey’s Irish Cream. Brownie kebabs are on the menu too, and they are made with mini marshmallows, mini strawberries and mini brownies, dipped in chocolate and on a skewer.

Each batch includes 12 pieces. She also wraps and packages the brownies in festive wrapping paper and ribbons - perfect for all those family events set to take place soon. The Sugar Shack

Aru de Silva has created a brand new menu for Christmas this year. On the extensive menu are festive cupcakes available in vanilla, chocolate, coffee, chocolate fudge with nougat, strawberry cream cheese, red velvet, blueberry, and Nutella, and cake (500gms and 1kg) available in ribbon, chocolate and red velvet.

The English Cake Company

Yohan and Ellie Galapitage have created a delicious and mouthwatering menu for Christmas. Choose from Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, mince pies, gingerbread men, fondant mice (which can be used to decorate cakes), gingerbread houses, chocolate Yule log, and croquembouche - a profiterole tower, each choux pastry stuffed with chocolate mousse or crème patisserie and covered with chocolate ganache.

The croquembouche is ideal for a festive event at home, TECC says. Christmas hampers are also available.

Dushinka

Look forward to Christmas, with baked goodies by Dushinka Subramaniam. On the list of festive goodies are mince pies, Christmas themed cupcakes, french macarons in an assortment of flavours and christmas cake, which is available as a whole and as individual pieces.

Colombo Cupcakery

This December, Fazlah Akram is baking Christmas themed red velvet cupcakes with marzipan. If customers make a request, she can bake themed cupcakes in chocolate or vanilla instead of red velvet.

Fazlah is also taking orders for chocolate cake, which she reveals has been a popular favourite among her family members. It has been made to a 30-year old family recipe, and it can be decorated with festive fondant.

Nandi’s Milk Toffee

A truly festive take on regular milk toffee, Nandi’s Milk Toffee is all set to prepare rich, indulgent milk toffee, which will be available in different variations. Choose from milk chocolate, white chocolate or blackcurrant and ginger.

Nanditha Gamage, who prepares the confections, will happily pack the milk toffee in festive packaging - perfect for gifting!

Butter Boutique

It’s all about indulgence and the comfort food factor at the Butter Boutique this December. Rukshi Nethicumara will be baking mini gingerbread loaves, custard tarts and Christmas cookies.

Also on the list is salted caramel hot chocolate mix, and homemade ice cream available in toasted almond ripple, white chocolate and raspberry, cookie dough and a saffron, rosewater and pistachio.

Moreish Cupcakes

Melshika Weerasinghe is including all your favourites on the Moreish Cupcakes festive menu this month. Christmas cookies (jumbo and regular sizes), themed cupcakes (in regular and mini sizes), dark chocolate brownies, Christmas rich cake and love cake are included alongside other popular treats at the home-based bakery.
