views 1090December is a magical month buzzing with excitement, promise and countless festivities. Hoping to contribute to that list is Paan Paan, who will be launching “The best things about December”, which includes an artisanal range of breads as well as Christmassy goodies geared to get you hyped about the season.
Paan Paan is synonymous with all things bread and have gradually added variants of bread to their menu. From white breads to infused breads, even a health range and everything in between, Paan paan has always had something for everyone. Most importantly, they've always ensured their prices are affordable.
As we dropped by to check them out, the smell of freshly baked bread teased our olfactory and gustatory senses, conjuring up visions of sitting huddled with family sharing fresh and wholesome bread. And in the vein of appealing to such personal narratives, their running theme encompasses “The best things about December”.
While their range of breads have always been enticing, they have a host of new entrants just for the season, among them, Breudher and Stollen bread, both of which will be available closer to christmas. While Breudher has always has a sense of familiarity with a hint of sweetness that seeps through when bitten into, the stollen bread was a comparatively sweeter affair that comprised dried fruit and spices, with the top of the bread covered in icing sugar. Biting into this incredibly moist bread which tasted like Christmas was indeed a treat, and we have no doubt it will appeal to those of all ages.
Another item we tasted and loved was the Paris brest, made with real butter cream. Incredibly buttery, sweet and moist, we couldn't get enough of it. Also as good were the meringues which not only made for a pretty picture, but is also likely to be a big hit at your Christmas dinner.
They currently have two types of doughnuts that they put out recently - coffee and chocolate. Looks can be deceiving, and the large size wasn't just a cover but a great deal for some incredibly tasty doughnuts. The coffee doughnut especially was a clear winner for our coffee-holic souls. Their brioche buns come in two varieties too - plain and chocolate.
Also adding to the seasonal cheer are the Paan Paan bread sticks, herbed croutons and ginger biscuit sticks with white chocolate (match made in heaven? Definitely!!).
In addition to the seasonal goodies, Paan Paan has a surprisingly extensive variety of breads like their dinner rolls, corn bread rolls, cheese and herb rolls, French baguette, bartusa flatbread, garlic bread and more. Their party platter goodies are also popular and include items such as mini chicken buns, tandoori chicken buns and sausage buns. They also have a variety of cakes including butter cake, Date cake and Banana bread.
Do head over to Paan Paan outlets to grab your seasonal goodies!
