Workshop on Corporate training by Dila Hettiarachchi
 

The top 10 girls got involved in their first ever learning workshop in preparation for the pageant under the kind guidance of Dila Hettiarachchi – an expert in the field of corporate training and personal development.

Speaking to Dila about what she had planned for the workshop, this is what she had to say,

“We have fairly limited time so I think it’s basically for them to be comfortable in who they are - to bring out their personality, to be able to talk to people freely. To also be mindful about their brand and how to communicate being an individual of who they are.”

The workshop took place at the Hilton Colombo and the girls were asked to be present in formal work wear for the corporate training session.

They started off with the basics of learning the art of a proper firm ‘handshake’ which can tell a lot about one’s confidence and personality which in this case is of vital importance to the contestants to prove they are great in every way.
