With hard-hitting punk, military styling, pastel shades and a velvet comeback combine to tell a story of multiple influences for Fall/Winter 2015-2016, in a celebration of personal style. Checks, stripes, diamonds and zebra print all came into for Fall/Winter. There are so many trends to embrace so figure out what works for you and enjoy!

Velvet

Seen on the catwalk at  Valentino and Chloé, full-length velvet is big for next season. Think long, flowing evening gowns that cocoon the body for a striking silhouette.

Military Style

On the offensive military style is back to conquer. Navy and gold are the colours to work with especially on jackets, that really shouldn’t be worn in Colombos heat translate the colours and button detailing onto skirts and dresses. Fashion's front line will be inspired by officers in the new season.

Breton Stripes

Channel your inner Bardot with this Paris style classic, these stripes are flattering and cool and have been spotted on a host of celebs in the know.

Macaron Colours

Baby blue, candy-floss pink, pale yellow and light green have moved from Spring to winter and will offer a welcome respite from the more intense colors of Summer. Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and Giorgio Armani championed the look for A/W2015.

Think Punk

Unleash your inner punk! The punk-rock scene for A/W15 with full-on leather, slashed pants, mini-skirts over ripped tights and chain and stud detailing was deliciously dark and rebellious. Look to Balenciaga, Saint Laurent and Givenchy for inspiration.

Shimmer All Over

Think glittering goddess as designers like Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren pulled out all the stops with statement evening-wear. Sequin-covered looks look set to light up the dancefloor for for AW15 so.
