Citrus Group in partnership with Percept (India) to bring India’s most spectacular entertainment show to the city of Colombo.

The Sunburn Music festival is an Electronic Music Show held at the end of December each year in Goa. Organized by Percept Limited, an entertainment, media and communications company in partnership with Nikhil Chinappa – the ever popular VJ and entertainment show host, the festival has been held every year since 2007, drawing more than 130,000 people to the venue each year.

Venturing into the global arena for the first time ever, Percept today announced its partnership with the Citrus Group – Sri Lanka’s fastest growing leisure group of companies – to bring to Sri Lanka Sunburn’s very first international show.

Since its first rave, Sunburn has been winning many national and international accolades including being nominated amongst the top 10 musical festivals in the world as well as Asia’s biggest music festival, along with being voted as the best live Entertainment Event of the Year 2008 & 2010 and the best festival of the year 2011 at the WOW Awards.

Known as India’s largest youth event, Sunburn in Sri Lanka will feature the Grammy winning DJ Afrojack - ranked no. 7 in the world, together with other national and international artistes from all genres of music who will gather together to give live performances and entertain the crowds.

Sunburn 2012 will be held on 6 October 2012, at the CH&FC Grounds in Colombo and will be the first ever musical extravaganza in Sri Lanka to be endorsed by VH1.

Hikka Fest in its first 2 years was great effort and I have personally been to sunburn the only good thing is the Dj Line up.
I think our local event planners should start building our own festivals in order to draw more foreigners. If you take a look at the festivals in europe most of them started very small and now it
