The WIP at the Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct celebrates the Strong Hop Festival from 19 March to 1 April from 7.00pm to 11.00pm. 

 

The Oktoberfest’s little brother, known as Strong Hop Festival is a spring festival celebrated at Munich. The modern day version of this festival is meant to help people forget the harshness of winter and celebrate the arrival of the spring season. 

 

 

The former 17th century Dutch Hospital Building has been restored and transformed into Colombo’s finest shopping, entertainment and pedestrian precinct. 

WIP (Work – In – Progress) is one of the unique restaurants in Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct which serves the finest European grub. The German Master Chef, Stephan Ferdinand from Cargills is prepared with a delectable dinner buffet for festival lovers of Oktoberfest. Some of the mouthwatering dishes are; Bavarian Beer Roast Chicken, Bavarian Chicken Meat Balls, original Munich white Sausage, Old Bavarian Potato Soup, Fish Filet Prawns Dill Sauce and more.
