Its wonderful to see young talented artists perform. Congratulations to all of them.
Sri Lanka has talent, but unfortunately, there is not a lucrative outlet for it Its quite limited.

  2. Ruwan says:

What rubbish. We CANNOT sing like Europeans. We just don't have the looks and voice. These type of joke shows should be stopped.

  3. Ruwan says:

But these people are singing European music, not our music. Do Europeans sing our music??? NO. Only very few African Americans have made it big. They are a very small exception.

Sri Lankan artist are highly talented and they can compete with any nationality with equal or better in any lingo. Looks eh? Sri Lankan are better sexy looking guys in the world with their beautiful skin colour, which White man don't possess. According to evolutionary biology, White to get our melanin, it will take another thousand of years as their skin colour is still not complete. It is still naked skin like a car without paint.

Ruwan. Why do we have to sing like Europeans? Why can't we sing like Srilankans?? This event has been a showcase for young talent for years.

  7. Hoona says:

Ruwan: Your ignorance amazes me. Some of the greatest artists in the world today are of African origin. They may live in America and Europe but there heritage is African. Music is universal not limited to a people or an area. You need to educate yourself Ruwan, your commets here show that you lack any knowledge of the musical world. What of Jazz, Ragge, Hip hop,Gospel etc., do you have any idea ? You need to take a class "world Music 101" and then proceed from there.
