With his second successful showing at the IPL Signature After Match Fashion Show in Hyderabad, Dimuthu Sahabandu returns to Sri Lanka with a greater following in India.
Last year, Dimuthu won the HSBC Colombo Fashion Week GenNext Award; to make his debut at the IPL After Match Fashion Shows. Being chosen again this year was something Dimuthu didn’t envision but wasn’t something he didn’t mind.
With a Bollywood Fan following of the likes of Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma, Dimuthu made heads turn yet again with an extension of his hugely popular collection shown at the HSBC Colombo Fashion Week held earlier this year.
Dimuthu partook in two shows in Pune and Rain, both held at the Marriot Chain of Hotels in Hyderabad.
The IPL introduced supermodels to the catwalk this year, including supermodels such as Carol Gracias, Laxmi Rana, Aanchal Kumar, Sonalika Sahay and Bruna Abdullah etc.
The collection featured a more ready to wear extension of his Spring Summer collection which will soon be available for sale at Melache.
