Mesh is a skin peep through material which has been used on garments for years and this season it is one of the favourite styles especially for brands like Diesel Black Gold, Milly and Taylor for summer 2014.

This material was traditionally associated with sports attire, however mesh is now making its way into mainstream clothing where designers are using the fabric on modern and chic silhouettes making mesh a very versatile material to work with.

Jason Wu has used mesh at the in his 2014 resort wear collection by collaborating embroidery on top of the mesh which was quite trendy since it revolutionises the garment by adding a hint of romance.

Mesh is popularly used in blacks, whites and beiges whilst pastels could be experimented to give the garment a very ethereal look.

Sheer was trending quite strongly last year but this year mesh will be enjoying the spotlight especially with the daring youngsters where this hip yet versatile attire will be suited with any occasion and not restricted as sportswear.
