Miss France 2014 finalists in SL
Thirty three French beauties - finalists competing for the Miss France 2014 beauty queen contest arrived at the Katunayake airport on Saturday.
These beauties were accompanied by 2013 Miss France title holder and First Runner-up of Miss World 2013, Marine Lorphelin.
The staff of the Cinnamon Hotel, SriLankan Airlines staff and the personnel of the airport authority warmly welcomed the distinguished visitors.
The first round of this competition had been held in the suburbs of Paris and 33 finalists between the ages 18-25 representing 33 zones of
France were selected out of many thousand participants. The selected finalists were offered an opportunity to tour Sri Lanka.
This is the first occasion in the history of the Miss France competition that the finalists were afforded an opportunity to visit Sri Lanka.
